Shelby was amazing to work with. I had sent a credit request through the website and Shelby returned my email. I replied with exactly what I was looking for, and what I could afford as a monthly payment and had my financing ready before I even came in. Usually the car buying process takes hours. We were done with the test drive and out the door with the vehicle in an hour and a half. Shelby even helped me get insurance for the vehicle. Awesome, Awesome service.

I have been to this site a few times, but this experience was truly painless. Everyone we worked with was very cordial and seemed to thoroughly know the product and got us thru the process fairly quickly. They did not try to pressure us to buy more services than we actually wanted or could afford, but did try to explain the pros and cons of additional warranties/services. We were initially interested in the Santa Fe Sport and did not intend to even buy a car on this trip, but we could see that the Santa Fe we bought would fulfill our family's needs.

We blew a tire and this place had the type of tire we needed. From the first call, through the visit, to the last call after we left, the people here were some of the kindest, most professional and helpful people I've met. I want to mention Christina (not sure how she spells it) in particular. She was the one who answered our original call, walked us carefully through finding all the information she needed to see if she could solve our problem. When we arrived, she escorted us through everything, including researching all possible insurance coverage owned by the car owner, getting us settled into comfortable chairs, making sure that we knew every update, offering water and snacks all while making us feel like we were the most honored customers the place had ever seen (while acting the same with the other customers). During this time, the car was being very professionally fixed by some extremely nice and knowledgeable gentlemen. As an example: I was merely the passenger, not the driver/owner/person dealing with the staff. However, when I went to fetch something from the car and couldn't find it, a staff member spotted me, immediately knew which group I was with and where our car was. Finally, after leaving, the warning light was still on, so we called Christina again. Evidently, warning lights go off after a minute or so of driving, and it turned off right as Christina answered the phone. That's the technical definition. Personally, I believe Christina fixed it over the phone. She's that good. :-)

So we are on the way to Pennsylvania to pick up Kaitlyn from camp. We have a check engine light come on and have the code run revealing the manifold intake rudder is stuck closed. We find the nearest Hyundai dealership since the car is still under warranty. We arrive at Pohanka Hyundai in Fredericksburg, VA at 5:45. The customer service was phenomenal. They thankfully had the part we needed on stock, and they had their mechanic jump right on it since we were traveling. Theyassure us that, while it should be fixed tonight, if by some chance it isn't, we will have a loaner car and be back on the road. By 6:45, the engine is fixed and running right. We're back on the road with a little setback. The amazing service we received here has to be within my top 2 all time best experiences with a service department. Special thanks to the mechanic Neil for putting other projects on hold to fix our vehicle, and the service rep David Lopez for being so helpful and making us feel at ease. Life throws you curveballs, but when you have great people willing to drop everything and help you out, it makes dealing with those curveballs so much easier. We are very blessed.

Adam was my sales person. He was very straightforward and friendly at the same time. I told him what I was looking for, and that I didn't have a lot of time because I had my child with me. He immediately helped me and found a car to test drive. He gave me a fair price without the whole "let me talk to my manager" thing. When it was time to buy, Matt in finance was very helpful and informative. The process did not take long at all and I did not feel like he was trying to get me to purchase add-on services like other companies have done in the past. He explained extra services to me with no pressure, and I really appreciated that. I have told all my friends and family that I purchased my vehicle at Pohanka Hyundai, and that I had a simple, straightforward, and efficient car buying experience.
