2015 Hyundai Genesis Competitor Comparison

In a world of full-size luxury cars, it's a crowded field with many to choose from. Pohanka Hyundai of Fredericksburg has compiled a competitor comparison to let you see how the 2015 Hyundai Genesis stacks up against the 2015 Lexus ES 350 and the 2015 Lincoln MKS.

When it comes to power, it's no contest. The 2015 Hyundai Genesis has the highest engine displacement with 3778 cubic-centimeters, the most horsepower with 311 horsepower at 6,000 RPM, and the most torque with 293 foot-pounds at 5,000 RPM. The Genesis also features rear-wheel drive, while the Lexus ES 350 and Lincoln MKS are front-wheel drive, and has 18-inch alloy front wheels, while the ES 350 has 17-inch wheels.

The 2015 Genesis is also longer and wider than the ES 350, and sports a greater wheel base than either the ES 350 and MKS. Regarding interior spaciousness, the Genesis has the most passenger volume with 108 cubic feet of space, and more front headroom and front legroom than the ES 350 and MKS.

When dealing with a full-size luxury car, you'd expect comfort and convenience to be top priority, but some key feature have been overlooked on the ES 350 and MKS. Integrated turn signals in the exterior side mirrors is standard on the 2015 Genesis, but not available on the Lincoln MKS. Rain sensing wipers come standard on the Genesis but are only optional on the MKS, and speed-sensitive wipers are only found on the Genesis. To keep you breathing clean, the Genesis has an interior pollen, particle, and dust air filter, which is something that cannot be found on the MKS.

For your comfort, the 2015 Hyundai Genesis offers you a heated, leather front seat, which is also available on the Lincoln MKS, will have to be added as an option for the Lexus ES 350. The Genesis also has front power lumbar support, which you won't find on the ES 350, either. Perhaps the biggest advantage that the 2015 Genesis has over the ES 350 and MKS is the navigation system, which comes standard on the Genesis, but must be added as an option on the others.

Perhaps most importantly, the Genesis offers you a 60 month/60,000 mile basic warranty, while the ES 350 and MKS only offer a 48 month/50,000 mile basic warranty. The Genesis also gives you a 120 month/100,000 mile power train warranty and a corrosion perforation warranty of 84 months.

It's easy to see who comes out the victor here, so come visit our new-vehicle showroom at Pohanka Hyundai of Fredericksburg and take one of our 2015 Hyundai Genesis models out for a test drive.
