2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Comparison Near Spotsylvania, VA

Find Out Which Hybrid is Right For You!

There are plenty of choices of Hybrid cars on the market today, especially as they grow more and more popular, so it may be tough to decide which one is the right choice for you. The 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid near Spotsylvania, VA, boasts a fuel-efficient engine, a variety of safety features, and tons of interior amenities for luxury and convenience. To prove the 2016 Sonata Hybrid is the right Hybrid car for you, we at Pohanka Hyundai of Fredericksburg have compared it to two other Hybrid cars, the 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid and the 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid near Spotsylvania, VA.

One of the main reasons for buying a Hybrid car is you want to get the most out of your fuel tank. The 2.0L 4-cylinder engine in the 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid gets a staggering 44 highway MPG1, while the 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid only gets 39 highway MPG.

While all three Hybrid cars have an impressive list of safety features, there are a few differences. When in a rear collision, the 2016 Sonata Hybrid used active head restraints to move with the collision motion to reduce the possibility of head and neck injury. This safety feature isn’t available on the Camry Hybrid or the Accord Hybrid. The Sonata Hybrid also has integrated turn signals on the exterior mirrors for added visibility and communication to surrounding vehicles, while this feature isn’t available on the Camry Hybrid.

Most of the differences between these Hybrids resonate inside when it comes to the luxury and convenience features. For starters, the 2016 Sonata Hybrid has the Infinity® Premium Audio System, while neither of the other two Hybrids have a premium sound system. This system offers HD RadioTM and SiriusXM® Satellite Radio with a complimentary 3-month subscription.  You won’t find HD RadioTM at all in the Accord Hybrid, while you’ll have to pay extra for it in the Camry Hybrid. Satellite Radio is only offered in higher trims of the Accord Hybrid, while you’ll have to also pay extra for it in the Camry Hybrid. You can also hook up your iPod® in the Sonata Hybrid with this system, while this isn’t an option in both the Accord Hybrid and the Camry Hybrid.

The 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid also offers Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM which houses a variety of technology features. One of these features is the built-in navigation system that lets you use voice commands to get directions, a feature not available in the 2015 Toyota Camry or the 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid. You can also make hands-free calls in the Sonata Hybrid using this system, which also isn’t available the Accord Hybrid or the Camry Hybrid.

When it comes to luxury and comfort, the 2016 Sonata Hybrid has you covered. Let in the sun and the stars with the panoramic sunroof, a feature only available in higher trims of the Camry Hybrid and the Accord Hybrid. And to stay comfortable no matter the weather, enjoy heated and ventilated seats inside the Sonata Hybrid, which is another feature only available in higher trims in the Accord Hybrid and Camry Hybrid.

If it’s time to purchase an all-new Hybrid, it’s important to know all your options. When it comes to fuel efficiency, safety precautions, and technology and luxury features, it’s clear which Hybrid is the better option.
